Manager (gn*) Market Research 

 
Siltronic is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hyperpure silicon wafers and partner of many leading semiconductor companies. The company employs around 4,100 people. The company has a network of state-of-the-art production sites in Asia, Europe and the USA. Siltronic develops and manufactures silicon wafers in diameters of up to 300mm. These are the basis for modern microelectronics and nanoelectronics.
We are currently strengthening our sales department in Munich with a full-time Manager (gn*) Market Research.

your tasks

  • Analyze, understand and assess developments in semiconductor device technologies and materials
  • Develop models that define the impact of semiconductor scenarios on our business (demand and product specifications)
  • Create research reports to help further develop our product offering and support senior management in decision-making
  • Drive projects and information exchange with Technology functions and with Sales & Marketing
  • Participate in external, international research conferences

your profile

  • Academic degree in scientific or technology field, PhD is a plus
  • Professional work experience with minimum 3 years of experience - experience in semiconductors/ Silicon material and in Sales or Technical Support or Equity Research is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to dive into complex data sets
  • Effectively communicating results to senior management and well-developed ability to prepare decisions
